Consumers are increasingly turning to sustainable wood in the search for environmentally friendly renewable energy resources. Allscape provides premier kiln dried firewood, the considerable benefits of which are as follows:

Types of Wood

Allscapes Eco-Logs only supplies wood sourced from local sustainable Irish Woodland. Wood types vary between Beech, Ash and Birch.

Wood Seasoning

Freshly harvested wood contains a naturally high amount of water, between 65-90% depending on the species. Removing the water is known as seasoning. Our dried logs typically contain 15-20% moisture which gives a considerably higher heat output and therefore better value than un-seasoned logs.

Energy Efficiency

When buying wood, consider the cost per kilowatt of energy. Using local suppliers may seem more convenient, but much of the firewood currently available is damp and difficult to burn.

Storing Wood

For perfect storage conditions the logs should be stored in a dry airy store, allowing plenty of air flow around the logs.
